Job Summary:

This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to manage multiple tasks and projects.. You will lead a team of dedicated Forman and fence technicians, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, great leadership skills and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback

  • Coach and teach the skills of the trade

  • Coordinate progress reports with General Contractor/Owner/PM on schedule and deadlines

  • Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors when under our scope or working alongside

  • Monitor, log and report on project progress

  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs

  • Implement safety and quality guidelines

  • Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance

  • Keep track of materials and orders arriving at the site

  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies

  • Set performance goals and deadlines

  • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly

  • Manage multiple projects and crews

  • Experience and proficiency in all aspects of fence and netting

  • Evaluation with Foreman (60-Day and additional evaluations)

  • Initiate paperwork for promotions

  • Corrective action forms and progress

  • CDL Class A


Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent is required

  • Three years of experience in fence construction

  • US work authorization is required

  • Valid driver’s license is required, reliable transportation, a CDL Class A

  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting

  • Willing to work M-F with weekends, 8–12-hour shifts, and overtime when needed

  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.

  • OSHA 30
